2024 Forbes Family Farm CSA Registration
As a family farm, our goal has always been to grow high quality food for our family and share the bounty with our community. Over the past six years, we’ve progressed from a handful of garden beds and a small flock of laying hens to over 6000 square feet of gardens, hundreds of broiler hens each season, pasture-raised pork, honey bees, grass fed yak and beef. Each year we grow closer to our goal of raising a full diet for ourselves, and we continue to seek out new ways to make the harvest available to our community. We thank you for participating as a member of our CSA this past year and are excited to have you continue with us next year! We know the CSA model takes a few years to adjust to as you learn to cook with and prepare fresh, local, seasonally available produce. We are continually trying to find ways to better serve you as we cultivate a community of like-minded individuals, so are excited about a few new initiatives we will roll out next season.

2024 Membership Options (season runs May 13 through October 10)

We will have our small-size share, a standard-size share, a family-size share as well as a meat share.
In addition to our full 22-week season option, for all produce shares we have a bi-weekly option available where you will receive produce every other week (for a total of 11 weeks). It will be half the price of the normal share. Returning CSA members will receive 10% off membership prices for the produce shares.

A standard box of produce will include an average of 8-12 crop varieties each week ($680 for the weekly share, $340 for a bi-weekly share).

A family box of produce will have less variety each week, but will include a greater quantity of included items (i.e. you may not receive a small bunch of both radishes and carrots, but would have a larger bunch of carrots). This box is intended to make it easier to cook dishes for a larger number of people ($680 for the weekly share, $340 for a bi-weekly share).

A small box of produce will include most of the same varieties of produce as the standard box, but lesser quantities ($470 for the weekly share, $235 for the bi-weekly share).

The meat share will include $400 worth of pasture-raised meat products. We will determine the exact mix based on personal preferences, but can include a combination of pork, yak, beef, chicken, duck, and turkey.

You are welcome to purchase the meat share separately or combine it with a produce share.

All CSA membership shares include a $25 CSA set up fee for your produce bags and Forbes Family Farm apparel.

We accept cash, Venmo, PayPal, check, and credit card. A 50% deposit is due at time of membership confirmation with the remaining 50% due before the season starts the week of May 13th. You are welcome to break it up into multiple payments leading up to May 13th if that is easier for your situation.
