Plums: How to grow, harvest and prepare
Plums are a delicious stone-fruit, related to cherries and peaches, that provides a sweet, yet healthy way to satisfy your hunger. They are full of antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and fiber.
In our orchard we have four different plum varieties that all ripen at different points in the year, so we’re lucky to enjoy plums starting at the end of July and all the way through the beginning of October. We just enjoyed a huge harvest this week of our latest variety and are currently dehydrating a big batch so we can enjoy them longer into the winter!
